Forklift Operation
- Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Transport pallets and materials to designated areas.
Receiving Duties
- Unload incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Inspect goods for damage and report discrepancies.
- Label and store received items in appropriate locations.
- Maintain accurate records of received inventory.
Order Pulling Duties
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on order specifications.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including packing and labeling.
- Ensure pulled items match order requirements and quality standards.
- Assist in cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.
General Warehouse Support
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse areas.
- Follow safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
- 1+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
Work Environment
- Willingness to always wear the required safety gear (hair net, beard cover, ear plugs, hard hat, safety glasses, and safety mask in areas required).
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, and move around for extended periods.
- Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
- Physical Strength: Exerts up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
- Physical Movement: Occasional climbing, stooping (bending body forward and down), crouching (bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine), reaching (extending arms and hands in any direction), and handling (seizing, holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with hand or hands).
