We are hiring a Maintenance Manager in Mooresville, IN at PacMoore, a Glanbia company. As the Maintenance Manager you are in charge of planning, directing, and coordinating activities concerned with design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery in industrial plant. You are responsible for providing electrical/mechanical and process maintenance support for a 24/7 food manufacturing industrial facility.
Job duties:
- Comply with work scheduling and attendance requirements according to policy and practices.
- Coordinate, plan, and supervise day to day operations all phases of planned and breakdown maintenance.
- Establish project priorities assign and schedule work effectively to meet production needs.
- Document departmental activity through SAP to include maintenance parts and work orders.
- Assist procurement in providing an efficient maintenance parts replacement program.
- Identify and assemble internal and external resources where needed.
- Assist in the training of all new team members.
- Establish team roles and expectations, develop positive work environment and resolves team conflicts. Facilitate proper communications between all team members.
- Monitor and manage work breakdown structure, work quality, schedule critical path, safety compliance and budget.
- Maintain proper maintenance records and documents.
- Implement maintenance objectives and success criteria as directed by senior personnel.
- Schedule and hold team meetings as required to review progress, resolve issues and clarify expectations.
- Assist in training of operations personnel in the various plant design operational needs. Participat in effective commissioning and turnover of plant on new projects.
- Manag Plant Maintenance Mechanics and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these individuals.
- Manage Plant utilities
- Monito process equipment to identify potential errors and develops solutions to eliminate the reoccurrence of those problems.
- Interface with all levels of management and employees to gather information and provide guidance for implementation.
- Single point owner of maintenance related activities in SAP including but not limited to:
- Functional location for equipment.
- Planning, creating and scheduling maintenance in SAP.
- Reviews maintenance plans.
- Changing, editing and updating equipment in SAP.
- Addition of parts list for BOM and assemblies in SAP
- Utilize GPS processes, driving zero losses and upholds the culture of Glanbia non-negotiables.
- Manage plant’s utilities equipment and facilities
- Effectively communicate plant KPIs to plant leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience
- 10 or more years of building/facilities/maintenance experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Involves moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily product/technical nature.
- Should be able to identify and distinguish colors, see clearly at 20 inches or closer and 20 feet or more, observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point, judge distances and spatial relationships, and adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.
