Senior Production Equipment Technician

Location: 100 PacMoore Parkway, Mooresville, IN 46158
Pay Range: $30–$36 per hour (commensurate with experience and education

Position Summary

PacMoore is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to join our high-performing team in Mooresville, IN. In this critical role, you’ll ensure our production and processing equipment operates at peak efficiency to meet production goals and support new product launches. You’ll work with minimal supervision, applying your advanced mechanical and electrical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize complex systems.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production and processing equipment, including Spray Dryers and Extruders.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to define equipment requirements for new product introductions.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, dismantle, and replace defective components, and reassemble machinery for optimal performance.
• Perform preventive maintenance using PM and work order systems to ensure equipment reliability.
• Train and mentor less experienced maintenance staff, sharing your knowledge and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards while performing physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, etc.)
  
  

What You Bring

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills, including working with components up to 460 volts.
• Proficiency in repairing pumps, motors, augers, hoists, and other production equipment.
• Experience using CMMS or other maintenance tracking systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for mentoring others.
• High School Diploma or GED required; formal technical training or associate degree preferred
