Job Purpose:

Reporting to the E-commerce lead of South Korea, this is a newly created role to reflect our rapid digital growth and D2C development. This role will lead and execute performance marketing on E-commerce marketplaces including Naver and Coupang, focusing on Optimum Nutrition and BSN brands.

 

 

Principal Accountabilities

  • Driving GMV through performance marketing channels
  • Operate and optimize search advertisements/ spending at various E-commerce Marketplaces including Naver and Coupang.
  • Responsible for performance marketing budget planning and analysis to refine KPIs throughout the year and achieve e-commerce sales targets.
  • Manage the relationship with marketing team and work closely on co-ordinated execution for full funnel digital marketing.
  • Evaluate market trends and compile detailed competitor analysis (Marketing tactics, offers, positioning, pricing etc) and creative audits (Marketing campaigns, landing pages etc.) to inform strategy and testing for D2C.
  • Provide insights to ensure co-ordinated reporting of Korean E-commerce performance on a monthly basis. Quarterly and Ad hoc performance reports where required.
  • Document clearly defined action steps and recommendations.

 

 

 

Key Challenges & Success Measures

  • Achievement of brand & performance marketing objectives and KPIs.
  • Improving effectiveness of paid media through reducing CAC and improving ROAS.
  • Support delivery of South Korea E-commerce sales targets.

 

 

 

Skills, Know How and experience

  • Data-driven approach to drive investment performance / analysis
  • Hands on experience delivering e-commerce sales targets and reporting on paid Media KPIs.
  • Proven track record in CAC evaluation and ROAS optimization.
  • Proven track record driving improvement in qualitative and quantitative business metrics.
  • Familiar with supplier hub management and marketing tools under the Coupang Platform.
  • Familiar and good understanding with Google Analytics.
  • Strong Data Interpretation and Analytical Skills.
  • Previous experience working with external digital agencies.
  • Ability to work cross functionally to drive high impact results.
  • Digital media agency experience is a plus.
  • Fluency in Korean and English is a plus.
