The Opportunity 

 

 

An opportunity has arisen for a Regional Marketing Manager for a permanent role reporting into the VP of Marketing & Insights. Within the four main pillars of the marketing & insights team, the Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) is a key member of the Marketing & Insights team and serves as a critical partner to the commercial sales organization.  The RMM is responsible for leading the development and implementation of account-specific plans that effectively support and translate our core business objectives and strategies at the key account level into leads & tangible growth drivers, with a focus on a specific global region.  We have four regions: North America (N/A), Asia-Pacific (AsPAC), Europe-Middle East (EMEA) and Latin America (LA). 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Be the primary point of contact for all commercial opportunities throughout the region, prioritizing initiatives based on strategic fit, size of prize, alignment with campaign themes & market/competitive dynamics.
  • Closely collaborate with product marketing, insights, and the commercial team to translate products & platforms into actionable key account marketing plans that generate leads & drive profitable growth behind priority initiatives.  
  • Create channel and account-specific marketing plans and tactics to align with and support defined national campaigns/programs, product launches, and other regional initiatives.
  • Work with the digital marketing group to translate key customer campaigns to digital, demand-generating content, while also collaborating to optimize account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns, review campaign effectiveness (impressions, page views, leads, etc) and report back to the commercial group for further development. 
  • Establish a strong understanding of key customers and their categories to identify new opportunities based on a combination of business analysis and commercial engagement.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to refresh the Customer Marketing Toolbox with new methods of supporting our customers & products.
  • Manage external agency and vendor relationships.
  • Leverage end-user, customer and category insights to create areas for 'solution-selling.’
  • Serve as the voice of our accounts and commercial team to provide 360-degree input to New Product Development (NPD)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, serving as the spokesperson for the Marketing team in customer-facing discussions, including top-line insights.
  • Collaborate with commercial colleagues to foster and enable demand generation opportunities through the impact of marketing initiatives and trade experiences.
  • Track, measure and report out on the ROI of account-based and customer marketing initiatives, and secure cross-functional alignment to reallocate funds based on learning.
  • Lead regional trade show execution, attendance & planning, including the calendarization of events, thematic alignment, coordination of logistics & pre/during/post marketing assets creation and dissemination.  
  • Develop and annual budget and manage the marketing expenses, including tracking, ROI assessment and reallocation as needed based on business conditions.

 

 

 

Skills & Experience

  • At least 7 years of customer marketing, account-based marketing, product marketing, or shopper marketing experience required, with 3+ years in a B2B environment.  
  • Experience building regional strategies as well as implementing global strategies regionally.
  • Proven experience in customer marketing, account-based marketing or shopper marketing type roles (agency or client side) engaging and partnering with customers to launch joint promotional solutions.
  • Experience in sourcing marketing support, including materials, collateral & agency/PR activation a plus.
  • Experience in trade show management or large-scale event planning
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Familiarity & previous use of CRM tools, such as C4C or Salesforce
  • Experience successfully navigating in a matrix organization a plus, including operating and tracking time as part of a Centre of Excellence (COE)
  • Bi/Tri lingual capabilities a plus (based on region)
  • Passion & interest in the health & wellness industry.
