Job Summary:
The Key Account Manager – Offline is responsible for the commercial performance and development of Glanbia Performance Nutrition’s offline business across key customers in South Korea.
This role serves as the commercial owner of assigned customers, including Costco, Emart Traders and future growth accounts, with accountability for delivering sustainable sales growth, profitability and long-term customer development.
The successful candidate will lead Annual Business Planning (ABP), Joint Business Planning (JBP), commercial negotiations, pricing and promotional strategy, trade investment management and forecasting processes. Working closely with the Head of Commercial and cross-functional stakeholders, this individual will play a critical role in accelerating offline channel growth while ensuring strong commercial discipline and execution excellence.
The ideal candidate combines strong customer leadership, commercial acumen, financial understanding and execution capability, with the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and entrepreneurial business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own the commercial performance of assigned customers, delivering sales, profitability and business objectives.
- Develop and execute Annual Business Plans (ABP) and Joint Business Plans (JBP) to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
- Lead strategic customer relationships and commercial negotiations with key accounts.
- Develop pricing, assortment and promotional strategies to optimize business performance.
- Manage trade investments and customer profitability to maximize return on investment.
- Lead annual planning, forecasting and performance management processes to ensure delivery of customer and business objectives.
- Manage distributor partnerships and support route-to-market initiatives to drive sustainable business growth.
- Identify new business opportunities and support the development of offline channel growth initiatives.
- Partner closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Service teams to ensure strong execution and business delivery.
- Support portfolio expansion across offline channels, including powder, RTD, bar, creatine, and other future innovation opportunities
Qualifications and experience
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- 10+ years of experience in Sales, Key Account Management, Customer Development or Commercial roles within FMCG, Consumer Goods, Nutrition, Food & Beverage or related industries.
- Proven track record of managing large retail customers and delivering sustainable business growth.
- Strong experience in Annual Business Planning (ABP), Joint Business Planning (JBP), commercial negotiations, forecasting and trade investment management.
- Strong commercial acumen, analytical capability and financial understanding.
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive business outcomes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Professional proficiency in both Korean and English.
Preferred
- Experience managing Costco, Emart Traders or other major modern trade customers.
- Experience working within multinational organizations.
- Experience in distributor management, category management or route-to-market development.
- Experience identifying and developing new business opportunities.
