The Senior CBM will oversee the Club customer portfolio, specifically Costco Canada, Costco Mexico, and BJs.  You will drive the creation and execution of Club sales through Omni-channel customer focus, effective joint business planning and collaboration to ensure we are the strategic partner of choice for the category.

 

Responsibilities

Leads business development for Costco Canada, Costco MX, BJ’s Wholesale, key customers

    • Drive global synergies across North American Costco regions (US, Mexico, Canada) and support international expansion
    • Omni channel thought leadership - Driving business both in-store and online. Intensive focus to build relationship with e-commerce buyer , internal COE of e-commerce to expand/optimize the .com platform
  • Able to identify category selling opportunities and deliver category based selling stories to Costco
  • Strong driver of customer agenda
    • Build strong customer relationships that result in partnership opportunities, which drive sales, market share and profit. Deliver account objectives with in trade spending parameters.    
    • Equally build strong internal cross-functional relationship that will assist in delivering business objectives        
    • Drive customer agenda internally, ensuring key stakeholders are executing aligned priorities.

 

Responsible for all aspects of customer development including opportunity identification, relationship management, customer service interface

    • Own Customer Joint Business Planning, distribution plans and new item recommendations inclusive of line review process.
    • Develop and own account specific promotional plans to ensure achievement of account growth goals and develop ongoing customer plans that are in alignment with corporate and customer goals.           
    • Develops and delivers strategic selling, assortment, promotion, pricing plans
  • Leverages forecasting and planning tools, analytics, insights and KPI reports
  • Sales and trade forecasting and budget management responsibilities

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years or more experience in sales for national retail accounts, ideally in Club channel
  • Demonstrates delivery of sales targets, forecasting and trade budget management
  • Understand a P&L and impacts from basic decision making can have on P&L
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Compensation for roles at Glanbia varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.  Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in IL. This range may not be applicable to other locations. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The salary range for this role for an Illinois based employee is $140,000 - $170,000 plus an annual bonus. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range.
