JOB SUMMARY
Supports Warehouse Manager in support of our 3PL Warehouses and other projects as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities:
- Project implementation
- R&R (3PL) receiving transition
- Orange Warehouse overhaul to incorporate Immunotec Sachets
- SAP Integration
- Oversee 3PL audits as well as any internal audits necessary
- Warehouse cycle counts
- Coordinating transfer truck activity between warehouses

- Schedules distribution of material to satisfy production requirements and shipping requirements in order to meet the customer’s delivery requirements.
- Inventory management (work with Orange Warehouse & West Haven Warehouse to determine inventory counts)
- Works with other departments and employees as needed to expedite problems, concerns and issues relating to the timely delivery of product.
- Analyzes departmental processes and makes process improvement recommendations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Training:
- Forklift certified a plus.
- 3-5 years warehouse, shipping, packaging, and delivering experience with high number of SKU’s, and 1 years acting as warehouse or shipping supervisor, group leader (or equivalent) preferably in a food manufacturing industry.
Knowledge, Skills, Competencies:
- Knowledge of warehousing, shipping, packaging and delivering processes best practices.
- Knowledge of inventory management computer systems.
- Knowledge of UPS, Fed Ex and other shipping companies processes and documentation requirements.
- Self-driven, motivated and results oriented.
- Demonstrated leadership, team building, and supervisory skills.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office.
- Strong, communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Able to multi-task and bring tasks to closure.
- Demonstrated effective attention to detail and follow through techniques.
- Organized, professional, and self-motivated.
- Must be customer services oriented with a strong drive to provide each customer with the best service possible.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
Physical Requirements:
- Light to moderate physical effort regularly required.
- Heavy physical effort occasionally required.
- Regularly involves standing, talking or listening, and the use of hands and fingers.
- Regularly involves going up and down stairs or ladders.
- Frequently involves reaching with hands and arms, standing and walking.
- Frequently involves crouching, stooping, kneeling and/or climbing or balancing.
- Frequently involves lifting up to 50lbs.
Typical Environmental Conditions
- Works in a powder processing manufacturing facility with moderate noise.
- May be exposed to moderate to high noise levels (i.e. production equipment, forklifts, heavy traffic).
- May be exposed to humidity, intense heat and cold, outdoor weather conditions, and fumes and toxic chemicals.
- May work in areas with mechanical moving parts, above ground with risk of fall, or areas with risk of electrical shock.
- May be exposed to ingredients that may cause allergic reactions and may be exposed to various allergen ingredients.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Minimal overnight travel (up to 5%) by land and/or air.
