Role Profile

Based in Kilkenny, the Procurement Coordinator is part of Tirlán’s Procurement Services team and reports to the Senior Procurement Process Manager. The role is responsible for providing procurement process and system support to Tirlán stakeholders and suppliers.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Support stakeholder queries across a range of procurement process and system related topics including the use of SAP and Ariba (Tirlán’s procurement systems).  
  • Deliver procurement training to new and existing users including requisitioners and approvers.
  • Develop and maintain training and process documentation.
  • PO management including PO reviews, Framework Orders and Invoice Plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to Procurement Category Managers and stakeholders in the setup of appropriate buying and invoicing channels for suppliers.  
  • Create purchase requisitions and complete goods receipts on behalf of designated functions and stakeholders.
  • Procurement approvals (PO changes, new material creations, contract pricing and additions, master data updates).
  • Co-ordinate scheduled account reviews with select suppliers.
  • Support supplier invoicing and payment queries and liase with appropriate stakeholders to resolve including Accounts Payable. 
  • Identify and support procurement process improvement initiatives.

 

Key Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and has the ability to think outside the box for problem-solving and solutions.
  • Strong IT skills with experience of SAP or Ariba preferrable
  • Teamwork skills as well as the ability to work on own initiative
