Sr. Financial Analyst
The Sr Financial Analyst is a key business partner to the operations teams located in West Haven, CT, Taylorville, IL, Springfield, MO and Carlsbad CA. This position supports the Director of Finance Premix Operations Finance in the review and monitoring of all Inventory activities occurring at the manufacturing facilities involving or having a financial impact on the Company. Key areas of focus is Inventory Management and Control.
- Prepare plant budgets and forecasts in relation to inventory. Coordinate with the Supply chain, Procurement and Operations team members to build accurate forecasts.
- Support the monthly inventory reporting cycle including Working Capital Inventory analysis
- Prepare on a monthly basis the site inventory provisions. Provide detailed commentary on the variances.
- Support the obsolete inventory process across sites, including preparing the reports, setting up and running of the bi weekly meetings, as well as following up on open action items.
- Prepare on a monthly basis the Cost of Quality reports for each of the sites. Provide detailed commentary on the variances.
- Support inventory management and control functions. Identify and resolve inventory-related issues by analyzing data, defining problems, and providing valid conclusions.
- Lead the Bi-Weekly Inventory Aging & Expiring Calls across the sites
- Develop and maintain a close working relationship with the production, quality, R&D, supply chain and other support departments by providing analytical support and data in a timely manner. Participate in operational decision making.
- The candidate must have in-depth experience of working across these areas, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and work effectively with internal departments.
The Skills you will bring to the team
- Bachelor’s degree required, along with a minimum of five years of relevant experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business publications, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations.
- Skilled in presenting information and responding to questions from managers, clients, customers, and public audiences.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and delegating assignments effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to define problems, gather and evaluate data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Demonstrates leadership through knowledge sharing and leading by example.

The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The annual salary for California based employees for this role is $75,000 to $95,000.
