Role Profile
The Brand Manager will report into the Marketing Manager within the Consumer category. The role must drive short, medium and long term sustainable, profitable growth for a portfolio of brands/categories. This should be achieved by using deep consumer and customer insights to craft brand/s that consumers love, and by developing compelling brand strategy that is delivered through exceptional brand experiences in terms of innovation, communication and activation.
This role sits in the Consumer Foods part of the business and is a hybrid role between remote working and our office in Citywest.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the domestic branded Cheese, Soup and Butter categories – reporting into the Marketing Manager for this area.
- Deliver annual volume targets.
- Develop annual strategic brand plans across each category and activate these yearly marketing plans.
- Report on the effectiveness of each campaign.
- Develop creative and media plans with agencies as required.
- Lead digital and social media strategies.
- Interpret consumer insights and turn these insights into strategy – through qualitative and quantitative means.
- Lead project management for cross-functional innovation and packaging projects within each category.
- Responsible for trade marketing strategies, activations and CRM plans.
- Fully manage budgets for each of the three categories.
- Champion the three categories internally.
