Role Profile
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team, as an FP&A Analyst. As the successful applicant, you will be heavily involved in financial model development leveraging business intelligence tools, including SAP Analytics Cloud, while providing decision making support to finance business partners and the accounting team.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation, maintenance, and distribution of performance management reports
- Coordinate cost inputs to the monthly sales & operations planning tool (S&OP) and support the reporting outputs from this process
- Support the rollout of Customer and Product Profitability reporting across the commercial teams
- Reconcile SAP PCA to COPA monthly to ensure accuracy of management reports and proactively identify, understand, and resolve variances
- Support the preparation of annual budget and forecast updates
- Drive process improvements
- Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects as required
Key Requirements
- High degree of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel is essential
- Ability to work with and manipulate large data sets
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Good knowledge and experience of SAP together with an ability to use and exploit business intelligence tools (SAC/ Power BI/Tableau)
- Proactive, detail oriented, excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from stakeholders
- Qualified Accountant or third level degree in a relevant finance or business discipline
- 2-3 years post qualification experience in a dynamic fast paced environment
