Senior Manager of Analytics, GPN Americas oversees the development of best practice and business reporting discipline for Business/Customer Teams, External Leadership Team, and External Constituencies.  This role will also support the Executive Leadership Team, providing support for insights leveraged to drive business decisions and external conversations, e.g. Wall Street, Media, etc.  Additionally, this role will act as a strategic business partner across multiple functions, harnessing data to drive insight into action.  Candidates for this role must have a bias for action, think and act creatively and be adaptive to change, be experienced in driving action through data, have a comfort level working with multiple types of data, and thrive in cross functional groups.  This role will report directly to the Director of Analytics


Essential Functions - 


  • Leads delivery of analyses, methodologies and tools to drive business rigor, category outlook, metrics/KPIs, and evolve GPN go to market tactics

  • Identifies, builds, and implements best practice and consistent business reporting discipline for Business and Customer Teams, Executive Leadership Team, and External Constituencies

  • Establishes himself/herself as a strategic business partner with I&A, Business Team and Customer Teams, Finance and Integrated Marketing teams

  • Executive Leadership Team support for internal and external insight needs

  • Proven track record of delivering actionable business recommendations, influencing decisions, and impacting results

  • Translates data and analysis outcomes into actionable insights and proven ability to influence business decisions

  • Experience and comfort in leveraging multiple structured(e.g. POS Sales data, consumption data, panel data, etc.) and unstructured data(e.g. blogs, social media tracking, search analytics, etc) to uncover opportunities

  • Be externally focused, leveraging competitor and financial institution reports to bring best practices to how we show up with external constituencies

  • Innovative mindset that is always looking for new ways to uncover insights.  Must be adaptive to learning and leverage new data sources, tools, solutions, etc.

  • Must be collaborative and comfortable working in large cross functional groups

  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and managing third party suppliers ensuring delivery on agreed to learning objectives and impactful outcomes

  • Agility with undefined objectives and responsibilities, ability to devise an effective solution in unstructured situations

  • Experience managing people preferred


Education - 


  • 4 years-BA/BS degree required



Experience - 


  • Minimum of 5-7+ years of CPG relevant experience
