Glanbia has an exciting opportunity for a Capability & Leadership Development Senior Manager to join the Talent, Learning & Culture CoE and play a key lead role in realising our transformation vision to create a future-ready, people-centred organisation. As part of the Talent, Learning & Culture CoE, you will bring strategic insight, expertise and passion for unlocking the full potential of our people to accelerate future-ready capabilities, careers and Glanbia’s growth strategy.  

 

Reporting to the Head of Capability & Leadership Development, the Capability & Leadership Development Senior Manager will: 

  • Be a strategic partner and work closely with Capability & Leadership Development team, wider HR team and businesses to shape and execute our strategy through a multi-year roadmap delivering against agreed priorities. 

  • Lead the effective design, development and delivery of capability and leadership development initiatives to build skills and capabilities in line with needs across our diverse business areas, markets and regions. 

  • Rethink how be build current and future capability through holistic solutions for the continued learning and development of leadership at all levels globally. 

  • Lead the hands on execution of priority deliverables, including a number of critical leadership and capability building programs Glanbia. 

  • Overall accountability for Early Careers. Lead strategic review and effective delivery to continue to elevate the early careers experience and ensure alignment to future business needs.  

  • Lead the effective delivery of the early careers experience including:  

    • Partner closely with business on early careers workforce planning for our markets and regions.  

    • Lead the design and delivery of high quality learning, on-the-job experiences, rotations, coaching and mentoring as part of the Global Early Careers Academy and Intern Academy.  

    • Partner with HRBPS/Line Managers on performance and development reviews and Associate coaching conversations. 

  • Bring thought leadership and shape new thinking, innovation, leading learning and development practices to address people and business needs. 

  • Lead review of how to embed global leadership capability model across the integrated talent management processes, including talent acquisition, performance management, talent assessment and learning, working in close partnership stakeholders globally. 

  • Measure and evaluate effectiveness and impact of strategies, solutions and processes to ensure fit for purpose and continuous improvement.  

  • Bring a consultative approach and analytical skills to distil and communicate key insights, and inform future strategies and solutions. 

 

 The Skills you will bring to the team 

  • Proven track record of creating and successfully delivering strategies and solutions that meets or exceeds established goals delivering meaningful results for people and the business.  

  • Strong project management skills and experience working in a fast-paced global environment, focused on integrated talent management, leadership development, learning and capability development.   

  • Deep expertise in designing, developing and delivering high impact talent, learning and leadership strategies and solutions aligned to people and business needs. 

  • Ability to adapt and learn in a changing environment. Ability to act as a change agent and role models change efforts. Learning agility to acquire/apply new practices and information in a constantly changing environment.   

  • Highly collaborative work style and strong ability to work cross functionally in a matrix global environment. 

  • Undergraduate qualification in a relevant discipline with post-graduate qualification desirable.  

  • Member of a relevant Professional body preferable – e.g., SHRM, CIPD, IITD  

  • Licensed in occupational psychometric tools desirable preferable e.g., StrengthsFinder, DISC, EQi 

  • Strong working knowledge of enterprise HR technology e.g. SuccessFactors, Workday and emerging technology solutions
