The Opportunity
As the Employee Communications & Engagement Manager, you will report to and work closely with our Director of Culture and Engagement and key internal stakeholders in managing and executing on our internal communications and engagement strategy globally, to drive a values led and inclusive culture, delivering an engaging employee experience
- Work with key stakeholders to bring our purpose, vision and values to life by developing and managing internal communication, employee engagement and culture building initiatives.
- Cultivate and sustain positive relationships with a strong ability to influence and guide a global champion network ensuring global synergy and empowering site / business unit autonomy.
- Draw on latest thinking, research and insight in managing content and programs to support internal communication, culture, and engagement initiatives.
- Develop and manage HR internal communication channel matrix, global internal communications calendar, and content by successful partnering with key groups
- Work closely with the manager to develop and execute innovative compelling internal communications plans, manage milestone communication events such as town halls and employee roadshows, and measure success of various campaigns.
- Develop content for key communications channels and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure that internal communication messages are consistent and aligned with external communication messages.
- Craft stories to amplify employee engagement activities across multiple communication channels and develops mechanisms for supporting effective and multi-channel communication across a diverse employee base.
- Responsible for execution and management of our listening strategy; engagement, pulse, and employee lifecycle surveys as well as managing day to day operations with our vendor partner.
- Develop and maintain a global annual calendar of campaign / engagement events across the organization.
- Work closely with the Director of Culture and Engagement and relevant BU stakeholders to bring our purpose, vision and values to life by developing and executing employee engagement and culture building initiatives globally.
- Partner with key stakeholders on the development and execution of innovative employee engagement programs that inspire and energize our people, including but not limited to; DEI initiatives, Employee Resource Groups, employee recognition and award programs, continuous listening, ESG / community involvement and wellbeing.
- Play a key role on wider global projects and employer branding activities related to the delivery of our EVP and effective employee attraction, onboarding and integration.
The Skills you will bring to the team
- Strong project management skills, can create and manage projects with multiple stakeholders and adapt to changing priorities and timelines quickly and easily.
- Previous experience gained in an internal communications role with experience in graphic design, managing internal communication tools / channels, video development / editing, canva, adobe, SharePoint, and Poppulo a plus.
- Creative thinker that is resilient and solutions focused, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, navigate challenges and problem solve in an effective and respectful way.
- Strong relationship building skills, can quickly establish trust, collaborate and develop a strong internal and external network.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and copy writing skills
- Experienced at developing and executing clear, creative and impactful employee communication campaigns that drive engagement and support change management across a global organisation.
- Prior experience with managing engagement surveys, analysis of survey results, supporting leaders through action planning. Experience in working with Glint a plus.
- Ability to act as change agent, remain business-focused and commercially aware and demonstrate a big picture understanding of the business, its interrelationships, and priorities.
- Ability to communicate and influence at all levels and demonstrate both empathy and assertiveness when communicating.
- Decision making and critical thinking, can accurately analyse situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
