Social Media Marketing Executive

A vacancy has arisen for a Social Media Engagement Executive with Glanbia Business Services. This is a permanent position, providing social media support to all parts of the business. This role will report to the Senior social specialist.
This team is dedicated to digital & creative innovation and excellence, working on some of the world’s best known brands across the Glanbia Group. Leading out key global digital projects and programs and offering services including UX, website development, creative design, digital strategy and media buying.
This is an exciting opportunity for a budding Social Media exec to support the growth of our brands through social media campaigns, influencer marketing engaging and engaging with our consumers online. You will be setting and implementing social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies.
This is a permanent position that will offer a hybrid working model, combining remote and onsite work in our Waterside Offices, Citywest, Dublin.
About the Glanbia Digital+ team
•    The Digital+ team are built to drive growth for Glanbia, we work with the brand teams to support them on Digital & creative strategy
•    Creative concept and strategic direction are at the core of what we do, we put emphasis on finding the right concept to help direct every project to success
•    Our media buyers develop digital media strategies to hit brand objectives and work closely with the Creative team to ensure that we have the right content for each platform
•    We build, manage and maintain large and small scale websites across the group from ecommerce to brochure ware
•    Our team of dedicated Account Managers develop strong relationships with the brand teams and manage each project from brief to completion
•    This flexible, empowered team weave together Enterprise Design Thinking, Lean, UX and Agile methodologies


Key elements of the role
•    You will be scheduling advertising & optimizing advertising across multiple social media platforms
•    Identifying social media trends & relevant content creators for the brands to collaborate with 
•    Delivering insightful monthly reports, including suggestions for continuous service and advertising improvement
•    Working with the Social Strategists to maximize performance on social
•    Collaborating with the creative team to create social content for the brands
•    Build relationships with consumers through community management
•    Provide education on our products ranges to drive sales and repeat purchases
•   Assisting with social media community management
•    Liaise with other departments to stay updated on new marketing initiatives, product and service developments and to ensure brand consistency


•    3rd level qualification in Digital Marketing, Marketing, related field or appropriate experience.


Skills & Experience
•    1-2 Years Experience
•    Knowledge of Facebook/ TikTok Ads Manager is an advantage
•    A strong understanding of social platforms 
•    Finger on the pulse of Meta & TikTok trends 
•    Interest in influencer marketing and content creation
•    Experience in social media management software such as Sprinklr or similar is an advantage
•    Strong communication skills with excellent report writing ability


•    A positive can do attitude & comfortable operating on multiple projects at once
•    The energy, enthusiasm and drive to make it happen
•    A team player who has the ability to motivate others, making it fun while getting the job done
•    A passion for  digital marketing and consumer experience
