Role Purpose:

Own end-to-end e-commerce performance across Malaysia and Vietnam (marketplaces such as Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop), while also governing reseller-linked online trade operations (pricing/promo updates, rebates/scan-sales administration, and execution tracking). This is a lean, hands-on role that blends strategy with day-to-day trading and operational governance.

 

1. E-Commerce Strategy & Execution:

· Develop and implement an end-to-end e-commerce strategy tailored to each country’s unique market requirements.

· Define key performance metrics for revenue, growth, customer engagement, and satisfaction.

· Plan and execute monthly campaign calendar, traffic and conversion levers, assortment/pricing architecture, and store health (content, ratings, visibility).

· Omnichannel / O2O coordination: align online plans with key accounts and internal stakeholders (Sales, Brand, Distributor teams) to ensure pricing alignment and consistent brand execution across channels.

 

 

2. Platform & Online Reseller Management:

· Manage relationships with marketplaces and relevant partners, negotiate campaign mechanics, visibility and commercial terms, and execute joint business plans.

· Negotiate commercial terms, promotions, and joint business planning with e-commerce platforms to meet sales targets.

· Monitor and optimize the performance of our brand across e-commerce platforms, including search ranking, page views, and product reviews.

· Reseller-linked online operations: Manage online-facing reseller mechanics, including monthly promo price updates, rebate / scan-sales reconciliation, customer alignment, and closure tracking; maintain clean, auditable trackers.

 

 

3. Digital Marketing & Content Management:

· Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute digital marketing campaigns, including social media, SEO/SEM, influencer partnerships, and paid ads.

· Ensure all e-commerce content (product pages, banners, ads) aligns with brand standards and is optimized for maximum engagement.

 

Key Challenges & Success Measures

GPN Malaysia & Vietnam operates with a lean team. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy building, improving, and owning the details end-to-end. You will be hands-on in Excel-based trackers, monthly promo adjustments, and rebate administration while we continue to strengthen processes and automation.

 

Success Measures

  1. Deliver e-commerce net sales growth (selling price to distributor) and improve profitability versus prior year, while protecting brand standards and customer experience.
  2. Grow TikTok Shop contribution to total online GMV in MY and VN as per agreed targets, while maintaining healthy ROAS and margin guardrails.
  3. Run on-time monthly trading operations: promo set-up, price updates, campaign execution, post-mortems, and clean closure of rebates/scan-sales with minimal escalations.
  4. Maintain high-quality reporting cadence: accurate, timely dashboards and actionable insights that drive decision-making and execution.

 

Skills, Know How and Experience

  1. 5–6+ years of e-commerce / omnichannel experience, with hands-on marketplace trading execution (campaigns, pricing, promotions, content hygiene, performance tracking).
  2. Advanced Excel proficiency: pivot tables, lookups (XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP), SUMIFS, basic modelling, error checking, and the ability to build scalable trackers and reconcile data accurately.
  3. Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-moving environment: proactive, adaptable, and able to execute without heavy support structures.
  4. Strong commercial judgement: balances growth with profitability; understands trade-offs across promo mechanics, platform costs, and value chain.
  5. Strong stakeholder management with distributors and internal teams; able to influence without hierarchy and close loops reliably.
  6. Strong written communication (email) and ability to run a consistent operating cadence (weekly plans, monthly reviews, post-mortems).
  7. Languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia required; Mandarin is an advantage.
