The Key Account Manager is responsible for building the local face of GPN in their field in the most relevant way and in line with the regional and country strategies and priorities. 
You you will build strong local networks including Gyms, Sports Clubs, Sports Communities, and Opinion-leaders and Key influencers both online (social media) and offline. 
You will be responsible for growing sales and consumption of GPN Brands – Optimum Nutrition, BSN, Isopure, THINK!. 
You will drive new business opportunities encompassing local needs and specificities and therefore impacting the heart of local consumers, leading to the successful development of the business with marketing initiatives in 4 key pillars of the marketing mix (Brand, Sports, Culture and Communications) leveraging On Premise, Off Premise (winning instore + consumer activations).


Key Responsibilities

 

DRIVE REACH

  • Leverage data and insights – In depth understanding of various moments of need when people need energy, recovery, hydration to build plan to attack reach opportunity, by channel.
  • Set approach, targets, programming, track and monitor results.  
  • Develop, and implement standard sales process.
  • Ensure targets are being achieved, and progress is regularly measured and discussed with line manager.
  • Build and align district plan, approach, and self accountable for new store results.  

 

BE #1 IN SPORTS NUTRITION

  • Establish, align, and build framework to accelerate Short & Long term sales drivers in channel.
  • Understand strengths and weakness, build plan to uplevel channel performance.
  • Bring Marketing assets such as Brand Campaigns, Titled Events, Student Projects, Athletes and KOLs closer to consumers in your country and secure, manage and activate high priority new distribution points through premium and relevant image led outlets, Gyms
  • Build physical availability of Products, Brand Assets  On Premise, Off Premise and new business environments. 

 

TEAM AND CROSS FUNCTIONAL MANAGEMENT

  • Alignment of planning and execution strategy
  • Alignment with Marketing to understand Brand guidelines, tools and opportunities.
  • Present to Country Manager, displaying innovative thinking and performance results.
  • Responsible for delivery of Perfect Store audits through external vendor partnership.

 

The Skills you will bring to the team

  • 3+ years of outstanding sales/marketing experience and track record in Consumer Goods industry
  • Distributor and Supplier experience preferred.
  • Ability to lead, manage and motivate retail & distribution partners with experience
  • Strong communicator and motivator.
  • Excellent negotiator and influencer.
  • Clear and proven ability to develop and implement successful sales and trade marketing strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer marketing principles.
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation and training ability.
