What we are offering

Tirlán is offering exciting opportunities for third level students to join our Internship Programme in 2023 in Agronomy based primarily in the Southeast Region of Ireland.

As an Agronomy Intern, you will get experience of:

  • Assisting Agronomists with crop walking and crop advisory
  • Developing your Agronomy knowledge and providing advice to Ruminant/Branch customers where required
  • Assisting in the management of Agri-chemical stocks across the branch network
  • Assisting in the preparation of marketing material

  • High academic record to date and expected minimum of a 2.1 honours degree
  • Record of high achievement and delivery
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Proven self-starter with the drive and desire to succeed
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • A ‘can do’ attitude and willingness to learn and grow during internship

Key Requirements

Students must:

  • Be available for the full duration of placement (February – August 2023)
  • Have a full driving licence and full time access to a car (this is due to our sites not being accessible via public transport)
  • Be willing to relocate for placement
