Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced IT Run Team Lead to join our IT Applications team on a permanent basis. The primary responsibility of this role will be to lead and manage the IT Run team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service and technical application support to our internal users. Also, overseeing the IT compliance programme of work.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to a team of IT run analysts, ensuring the provision of high-quality services.
- Monitor and report on team performance, provide regular feedback to team members and implement corrective measures when necessary to achieve performance targets.
- Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives to enhance service delivery.
- Manage escalations as required.
- Create and apply process improvement to increase product and service quality to achieve business objectives.
- Respond to unfamiliar, undefined, unexpected, or unstable situations with the professionally prescribed standard response.
- Responsible for demonstrating appropriate, clear, concise, and effective written and oral communications in all interactions to build relationships and accomplish day-to-day work and projects.
- On-call escalation contact when needed. Primary point of contact for Business and Operations teams. Ensure timely and efficient resolution of logged incidents and service requests, exceeding established service level agreements (SLAs).
- Act as primary point of contact for IT team's applications compliance programme such as Disaster Recovery Plan, Penetration test etc.
- Additionally, flexibility required to working hours dependent on business needs which occur.
Requirements
- Level 5 degree or the equivalent through accumulated certs etc.
- Good knowledge of IT methods
- Ability to lead, manage and develop team members
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven influencing skills
- Experience in driving collaboration and building partnerships to meet shared objectives
