Role Profile:
We have an opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the team at Tirlán on a 12 month fixed term contract. Reporting to, and working with the Head of Talent Acquisition, you will be part of the broader HR team & you will support the full recruitment lifecycle, collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop a comprehensive understanding of their resourcing requirements, develop and execute appropriate sourcing strategies and hire and onboard great talent to support our business.
The successful candidate will have responsibility for posting open positions to job boards, scheduling interviews, attending interviews, creating offer letters, conducting background checks and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure a smooth flow in the recruitment process.
Location: Kilkenny / Hybrid
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with hiring managers on role requisition process and identify recommended ‘go to market’ sourcing strategies.
- Manage and maintain candidates through our ATS (Success Factors), including, but not limited to, sourcing, application management, shortlisting, phone screen, scheduling interviews
- Coordination of open positions on internal career sites and external jobs boards.
- Conducting selection interviews with hiring managers and providing insightful feedback to support the decision process.
- Ensuring pre-employment recruitment operations are completed in a timely manner: medicals, reference checks and other pre-employment checks.
- Liaising with our Preferred Supplier listing of agencies.
- Administering psychometric testing and interpretation of feedback
- Extending offers and preparation of written contracts of employment and documentation to complete the offer process.
- Provision of feedback to candidates and agencies.
- General recruitment administration & weekly reporting
- Involvement in recruitment related adhoc projects as required
- Ability to work cross functionally
Key Requirements:
- 3rd level education in a relevant discipline such as HR or Business is desirable or relevant demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Previous recruitment experience, 2 to 3 years, in a fast paced environment
- Experience in the food industry /manufacturing environment advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate professionally with colleagues at all levels in the organisation
