Role Profile:
Talent Development Specialist will be responsible for the design, development and delivery of talent, leadership and learning initiatives across Tirlán. This role will provide a great opportunity to engage in the strategic deliverables of our HR, D&I and OE Team, and in doing so, support the delivery of the overall Tirlán business strategy. This is new role that will work with our existing Head of Talent Management and Talent Development Manager, and closely with our HRBP and Talent Acquisition teams, alongside the wider business.
Responsibilities
Early Careers @ Tirlán
- Graduate Programme: Strategic positioning, design and execution. Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HRBPs and business leaders to deliver an exceptional pool of emerging leadership talent to the business. Define our value proposition to graduates on the market and deliver a market differentiating employee experience for the graduate cohort.
- Build a pipeline of future talent to Tirlán while fulfilling a critical role in our community. This includes internship programmes and secondary school programmes such as a Transition Year work experience to meet the needs of our community and also attract future graduates to careers in our industry.
Tirlán Leadership Academy:
- Work with Talent Management team to design and execute the Tirlán Leadership Academy for all leadership levels.
- Support our ongoing evolution to become a coaching organisation.
Learning Experience
- Learning Content Management: we have invested in a state-of-the-art LMS and learning content. Work in partnership with our content providers to curate and develop content in line with our capability needs.
- Learning Management System Management: optimise the functionality of this system
Team Facilitation
- We place huge emphasis on high performing teams and on understanding our culture through dialogue. Design our facilitation approach and facilitate meaningful conversations with our business partners.
High Potential Development and Succession Management
- Partner with HR and the business to really nurture our high potential talent and accelerate their readiness for succession.
Support Change
- Support the development and execution of culture change programmes/initiatives relating to, for example, leadership frameworks, well-being, diversity and inclusion, recognition etc.
- Assess impact and effectiveness of learning and other engagement interventions through survey, focus groups and other means.
Qualifications/Experience
- Minimum of a third level qualification in a relevant area. Professional membership of a relevant body, e.g., CIPD is desirable.
- Ideally qualified executive coach.
- Proven previous experience in a similar role focused on talent development and learning within a multinational company.
- Ideally strong early career experience
- Highly competent in the use of talent management strategies, processes, frameworks and tools for development.
- Previous experience in mentoring and coach leaders at all levels.
- Extensive project management, planning, process and policy definition experience.
