Role Profile
The Marketing Associate will report to the Marketing Manager within the Tirlán Consumer Domestic Category.
We’re looking for an ambitious Marketing Associate to join the busy marketing team based in our new Citywest office in Dublin. The team work hard to deliver great campaigns working with a strong portfolio of market leading brands including Avonmore and Kilmeaden.
This is a great role for someone looking for their next career move within an FMCG company and there is certainly plenty of opportunity to get involved in some high-profile projects. Ultimately, this is a fast paced but fun role suited to an enthusiastic individual with a passion to make a difference.
This is a hybrid role based in Tirlán’s new offices in Citywest
Responsibilities
• Work cross functionally, supported by the Marketing Manager with operational, and commercial personnel to implement planning.
• Assist the team with the development and execution of the brand plans. Working with external agency partners to ensure the brand is delivered in all communications to a consistently high standard, in line with brand guidelines.
• Working with digital marketing colleagues and agencies to ensure content curated is industry leading and in line with trends.
• Work closely with the commercial team to ensure excellence in execution of displays and point of sale instore. Own design, print and distribution of brand materials to field sales.
• Assist with brand sponsorships, events and the rollout of any associated media and PR activity.
• Monitor brand performance, including campaign analysis, promotions performance and competitor activity. Complete deep dives and competitor reviews in various markets to understand & respond to category dynamics.
• From time to time support the wider marketing team on Tirlán marketing initiatives. Promotional and sampling requests etc including attending events such as the National Ploughing Championships.
• Annual budget planning and budget management. Responsible for payment of vendors and reporting.
• NPD admin support, liasing with master data on product set up, curation of barcodes, sap codes, new line forms etc.
Requirements
• A Marketing and/or related third level qualification.
• Retail or FMCG industry marketing experience.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritise & manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent relationship building, communication and influencing skills.
• Growth mindset – embraces change and new thinking, has a ‘test and learn’ approach.
