Community & Social Lead, Oceania
Role Purpose
Own and build Optimum Nutrition’s community and content engine, driving visibility, cultural relevance, and education-led advocacy at scale.
This role is accountable for defining and delivering the systems that determine:

how content is created

how community is built

how the brand is understood and trusted in market
Key Accountabilities

Social channel performance (reach, engagement, growth)

Content output (volume, consistency, quality)

Creator network scale and effectiveness
-
Community activation (events, gyms, PTs, key training environments)

Event effectiveness as a content and community driver
-
Amplification of brand campaigns through social
Core Responsibilities
1. Define and build the content system
-
Define content strategy, cadence, and formats across platforms
-
Establish clear content pillars aligned to brand priorities
-
Build a scalable content model using:
-
freelance creators
-
community advocates
-
internal capture
-

Ensure consistent, high-quality, platform-native output
2. Creator & Community Ecosystem
-
Define the structure and scale of the advocate network (coaches, creators, community leaders). This is not a pay-to-play strategy, we want real advocates engaged in the brand and participating with the brand as ambassadors.

Recruit and manage a network of 15+ active advocates as a baseline, embedded in fitness culture (gyms, coaches, local communities)

Establish clear expectations for; content output, participation and advocacy behaviour
3. Own Education on Social and Community

Define and implement a structured education framework across social and community

Build repeatable education formats (series, content pillars, frameworks)

Partner with Brand to align education with; product innovation, key product claims
4. Campaign Amplification

Translate brand campaigns into social-first execution
-
Define how creators and community are used within campaigns
-
Ensure campaigns are amplified through content, not just posting
5. Events as Content & Community Drivers

Determine which events to activate and why to create an ON community of advocates who are engaged with the brand

Design how events deliver; content output, creator participation, community engagement

Ensure events generate usable, scalable content
6. Measurement & Optimisation

Define success metrics across content, creators, and channels
-
Track performance and optimise continuously

Report to the business through programs, such as Sprout
Skills & Experience
-
Proven experience building or scaling social, creator, or community programs
-
Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram content dynamics
-
Experience working with creators, influencers, or ambassador programs
-
Ability to direct freelancers and external creators
-
Experience in fitness, FMCG, or DTC preferred
