Senior Brand Manager, Optimum Nutrition
Reporting through to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Senior Brand Manager role has the broad responsibility for leading the development of all Optimum Nutrition strategies and communications across key brand touchpoints, leading paid media strategies, content strategy, supporting gym opportunities, research and NPD.
Working as an integral member of the marketing team, the role will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager, Trade Marketing Manager, Graphic Designer, and Athlete and Partnership Manager to set the strategy for the annual go to market plans, whilst also establishing themselves as the point contact for Optimum Nutrition within the Oceania organisation.
Responsibilities:
· In partnership with the Senior Marketing Manager, lead the 12 month Brand Plan (Annual Brand Plan) Strategy for Optimum Nutrition, covering KPI setting, objectives, Jobs To be Hone, Media Strategy, Content Strategy, Research Agenda and NPD/Innovation horizons
· In partnership with the Senior Marketing Manager, identify and set the 2-3 fully integrated campaigns for Optimum Nutrition annually that tie back to the brands core creative idea
· In partnership with the commercial team, lead the strategy and calendar for the promotional program through specialty retailers both on and offline
· Support retailer activation with the Trade Marketing team for both online and in-store retailers.
· Support the Digital Specialist for content and digital strategy that reflects the Brand Communication guidelines.
· Support the Athlete and Partnership manager in talent strategy and roster to ensure all tactics are on Brand Communication guidelines
· Lead the gym and sampling program against brand communication that reflect the fitness and sports community.
· Lead best-in-class creative execution for top of funnel activity, that reflects Brand Communication guidelines (e.g. VOD campaigns, YT, Gyms).
· In partnership with the Senior Marketing Manager, set the 12-month innovation pipeline, including launch of globally led NPD e.g. New Flavor Launches
· Responsible for annual brand spend in budget delivery is on time, in full
· Assist Senior Marketing Manager for setting the research and insights annual agenda
· Build relationships and work collaboratively with Optimum Nutrition team members across Asia and Europe.
· Use tracking platforms to identify learnings and opportunities for growth, as well as track brand and marketing performance
· Use tactics to stay close to the fitness and sports consumer community and continue reflect their values and attitudes through the brand language and creative output
· Seek opportunities for sampling, collaborations, PR, and abilities to unlock earned media
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· A passion for brand marketing
· Analytical acumen and ability to work with insights/data
· Ability to manage sections of the A&P budget
· Ability to work autonomously but also be a strong team player with initiative
· Ability to manage stakeholders and priorities
· Passion and entrepreneurial spirit to drive and implement brand strategies
· A natural communicator with good reporting and presentation skills
· An influential and collaborative interpersonal style which will see you build effective cross-functional stakeholder relationships
