The Opportunity 

Are you driven by the opportunity to lead business transformation in high-growth categories at the forefront of consumer well-being trends? As the Vice President of Innovation & DTC, GPN Americas, you will be accountable for accelerating short-term and long-term growth for the business while shaping the long-term organizational innovation and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) capability and culture. You will define the strategic direction for our Americas business—driving brand, category, innovation, route-to-market, and financial performance. In this pivotal senior leadership role, you will inspire and engage employees, champion GPN Values, and cultivate a high-performing team. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping our success in the Americas and contributing to our global growth

 

What You’ll Do

  • Build a multi-year strategic platform innovation pipeline for incremental and transformational growth.
  • Integrate the Innovation Roadmap into annual business planning and financial targets.
  • Drive cross-functional execution with BU leaders and teams (R&D, Sales, Brand, Marketing COE, Insights & Analytics).
  • Build and scale a DTC platform to accelerate consumer trial, feedback, and loyalty.
  • Establish a rapid innovation test-and-learn framework within the DTC channel.
  • Develop strategies to automate repeat sales & loyalty through CRM and personalized consumer engagement.
  • Champion consumer-led innovation by partnering with Insights & Analytics to identify trends.
  • Strengthen organizational innovation capability and culture through structured reviews and data analysis.
  • Measure and optimize performance with Innovation KPIs and consistent frameworks.
  • Partner with Business Unit (BU) leaders to drive seamless execution of the Innovation Roadmap, ensuring alignment with regional and global strategies.
  • Partnering with PMR office to provide input of a clear governance structure to monitor and measure the performance of innovation initiatives, driving accountability and results across BUs.

 

The Skills You Will Bring to the Team

  • Minimum 15+ years of leadership experience in innovation and DTC within a global organization and start-up experience will be a plus with a proven ability to deliver measurable growth.
  • Strong track record of developing and executing innovation roadmaps that drive business growth and consumer engagement.
  • Experience building and scaling a DTC business, including CRM infrastructure, automated replenishment, and personalized consumer engagement.
  • Deep expertise in leading cross-functional teams and aligning diverse stakeholders (e.g., R&D, Sales, Marketing, Finance) to deliver innovation.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to build business cases, evaluate financial impact, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proven ability to translate consumer insights into compelling product concepts and successful launches.
  • Strong strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities, with the ability to balance short-term execution with long-term vision.
  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and act on business and consumer trends.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to inspire and align teams around a shared vision.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred

Compensation for roles at Glanbia varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience.  Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in IL. The annual salary for IL based employees for this role is $250,000-325,000 plus an annual bonus. This range may not be applicable to other locations. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range.
