WAREHOUSE DRIVER

JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Driver is responsible for shipping and receiving product with accuracy as well as order (BPR) picking, repacking, loading of raw material, unloading, sampling, storing of raw material and supporting production needs. Drive company truck to storage facility to drop off/pick up finished goods/raw materials in a safe and timely manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (not restrictive)
§ Receive and store all incoming materials in the proper warehouse storage areas.
§ Accurately barcode all incoming raw materials.
§ Accurately pull/prepare material for shipping from pick list and shrink-wrap for safe transport, including
cleaning drum lids; attaching shipping labels and checking all lot numbers to make sure proper material and lot numbers are shipped to customer.
§ Complete daily shipping and receiving inspection form.
§ Print product labels for sales orders.
§ Accurately collect and attach shipping document to pertaining outbound orders.
§ Send receipt of product email.
§ Segregate incoming raw material per material and batch.
§ Physically load/unload boxes and drums of material (up to 50 lbs) onto/from transportation vehicles.
§ Secure third and fourth level tier pallets by re-wrapping or transferring to lower tier.
§ Load/unload pallets from transportation vehicles using forklift or pallet jack.
§ Use UPS manifest system for preparing shipments.
§ Distribute incoming UPS/FedEx packages to recipients.
§ Perform inventory of raw material and packaging.(Cycle Counts)
§ Maintain parking lot and trash bin area.
§ Perform daily warehouse housekeeping duties. (Sweep and mop warehouse floor, dust walls, cabinets, rails, charger stand, pest control traps, corners, webs)
§ Prepare and package hazardous material according to D.O.T standards.
§ Safely prepare, store, and handle hazardous materials according to OSHA guidelines and procedures.
§ Perform the local daily driving duties and back up the non-local driver.
§ Pull and prepare production orders and items for inspection.
§ Invert and wrap material going into and out of production.
§ Answer radio calls and complete requests in a timely manner.
§ Remove and dispose production and warehouse trash as well as disposing overages.
§ Receipting blends and putting blends and other items away using an SAP handheld.
§ Provide material and packaging to production as requested.
§ Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.

§ Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education, Training:
§ High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred.

Experience

Required:
§ Demonstrated clear communication skills – written and verbal.
§ Experience and ability to operate a stand-up forklift and a motorized pallet jack.
§ Clean DMV record with a valid driver license.
§ Ability to follow direction and work with S.O.P.’s
§ Must be detailed oriented and able to read lot numbers.
§ Class A CDL with Air Brakes
