We are hiring a Senior Analyst to join the Corporate Development team.  Glanbia is a seasoned acquirer of consumer products and ingredients businesses worldwide. You will be responsible for performing financial and strategic analysis to support Glanbia’s ongoing M&A strategy and play a key role in preparing financial models and the due diligence process to evaluate potential acquisitions, strategic investments, and joint ventures. This is a high visibility role with opportunities to interact with senior-level executives and advisors.

 

Key Elements of the Role:

  • Analyze acquisition, strategic investment, and business partnership opportunities in line with corporate strategy and growth objectives
  • Develop operating financial models to evaluate a target’s financial projections, valuation, accretion dilution, and returns analyses
  • Work with business partners to create and deliver high quality presentation materials to support acquisition recommendations for senior leadership and other internal stakeholders
  • Support transaction execution through project management and due diligence tasks
  • Collaborate with internal business unit leaders to support ad-hoc strategic finance projects


SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or other relevant disciplines
  • 3 years of financial analysis experience in investment banking, corporate development, or transaction advisory or transaction services
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint and secondary research skills 
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and cross-functional environment, where conflicting objectives need to be prioritized and achieved
