Commercial Finance Manager (Glanbia Nutritionals Services, LLC, Chicago, IL)

 

Lead financial planning activities, such as Budgets & Forecasts, and financial measurement and reporting of profitability for the business. Provide business support using financial analytics to manage delivery of sales and profit targets. Perform periodic performance reviews and timely and accurate analysis of accounting information, including variance analysis and performance metrics. Drive planning process, including model modification, updating, and analysis. Oversee monthly CPP (customer & product profitability) process, analysis, and reporting. Responsible for process improvement and standardization in assigned area. Responsible for month end closing tasks and reporting. Set the directions for project analysis and development. Prepare cash forecasts, including analysis and reporting. Analyze customer credit limit requirements and prepare limit adjustment business cases. Partner with Commercial and Product & Innovation on financial analyses for long-term product strategy and product costing. Customer analysis and customer contract support as necessary. Domestic travel required up to 10% of the time for meetings, training sessions, and plant visits. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to 227 W Monroe St, Suite 5100, Chicago, IL 60606. Salary: $128,627 - $135,000  per year.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree or U.S. equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or related field, plus 3 years of professional experience as a Financial Analyst or any occupation/position/job title involving financial measurement and reporting of profitability.

 

Must also have experience in the following: 3 years of professional experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations; 3 years of professional experience writing financial reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; 3 years of professional experience responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public; 3 years of professional experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions; 3 years of professional experience utilizing computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, and spreadsheets; 2 years of professional experience interpreting technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and defining abstract and concrete variables; and 2 years of professional experience applying mathematical operations including frequency distribution, analysis of variance, and analysis.
