- Maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes, including responsibility for balance sheet integrity.
- Preparation of Monthly Consolidated P&Ls and Balance Sheet for internal commercial reporting purposes and also for Group consolidation.

- Collaborating with both key internal and external stakeholders to support the onboarding of an external service provider (business process outsourcing - BPO)
- Cash management and treasury duties, liaising and engaging with Group Treasury function.
- Ensuring that financial control processes are operating to the highest standards in the business units in line with Group expectations.
- Ensuring compliance with all accounting, tax and legal requirements across the countries in the region.
- Ensuring that commercial and statutory financial reports are completed on time and being continuously developed to meet the changing demands of the business.
- Developing and continuous improvement of systems, processes and controls on an on-going basis.
- Leading and developing the International Accounting and Control team in terms of both their professional and personal development.
- Assisting the International VP Finance on the on-going development of the finance functions in EMEA (D2C) and ASPAC and its support of the commercial operations.
- Partnering the regional Finance Director to understand the needs of the business and ensure appropriate controls and guidance in place for commercial finance.
- Implementation of financial control system and recruitment of resources into acquisitions.

The Opportunity
To oversee the control and accounting activities of all International Accounting and Control teams and ensures that this team is organised and efficient and produces accurate financial and management accounts.

- Ensuring that processes, systems and controls are operating effectively across a rapidly expanding business, are implemented into new acquisitions
- Ensuring that processes, systems and controls are transitioned effectively to the external BPO provider, and managed and monitored effectively once the BPO takes ownership
- Managing tax and legal compliance across multiple jurisdictions in conjunction with both group departments and third party providers.
- Leading and managing finance teams in multiple locations.
- Continually developing the financial reporting of the commercial business to ensure that it is providing relevant and insightful information that drives decision making.
- Managing and leading projects which require cross-functional and group participation in project teams around new accounting and compliance requirements.
The Skills you will bring to the team
- Degree educated or equivalent as well as being a Qualified accountant – ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA.
- Demonstrated strong post qualification experience gained in a fast moving and dynamic business.
- Proven experience operating at a Financial Controller level or higher.
- Excellent track record of developing/leading a high calibre team.
- In depth knowledge of accounting and financial principles as well as technical accounting skills.
- Experience of working directly within international markets and across multiple international markets and/or within an FMCG environment.
- Experience in managing, motivating and influencing in an environment of rapidly changing workload, tight deadlines, in the context of high client expectations and tight time frames.
- A self starter who has the ability to work well within a team and across geographical boundaries.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, good judgement making and logical decision maker.
- Excellent written and verbal communicator.
- ‘Can do’ attitude with the ability to influence.
- Proven track record of stakeholder management
- Proven ability of dealing with ambiguity.
