The Opportunity
Are you driven by the opportunity to lead business transformation in high-growth categories at the forefront of consumer well-being trends? As the head of one of our most strategic markets globally, you will define the strategic direction for our UK business—driving brand, category, innovation, route-to-market, and financial performance. In this pivotal senior leadership role, you will inspire and engage employees, champion GPN Values, and cultivate a high-performing team. Your leadership will be instrumental in shaping our success in the UK and contributing to our global growth.
What You’ll Do
- Formulate business strategy and commercial plans to deliver the region's vision and annual budgeted growth plans.
- Lead portfolio & brand development strategy for Optimum Nutrition, SlimFast, Isopure, and the broader portfolio.
- Inspire the Marketing team to develop a network of key opinion leaders, brand ambassadors, and influencers across sports and lifestyle social platforms.
- Identify new market opportunities and distribution partnerships, develop robust business proposals, and negotiate contracts.
- Monitor competitor activities and industry insights to capitalize on market opportunities.
- Nurture and develop key channel partnerships, including Distributors, national Key Accounts, Gyms, Health stores, and Online retail channels.
- Lead capability development across Ecommerce, social media, and Influencer Marketing.
- Own the P&L in the UK, managing business to meet Net Revenue, Contribution Margin, and Operating Profit Targets.
- Develop the UK strategic plan, annual operating plan, and support quarterly financial estimates.
- Support the development of financial, supply chain, forecasting, and regulatory controls.
- Work with global and local operation teams to execute optimal supply chain strategy.
- Build a high-performing, accountable, and effective Leadership Team.
The Skills You Will Bring to the Team
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in customer-facing roles, managing relationships at a leadership level.
- Experience in planning, operationalizing, and executing cross-functional strategies.
- Strong background in building brands to drive awareness, penetration, and category growth.
- Experience managing a P&L and understanding cross-functional levers within a P&L.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver consistent results and build agile teams.
- Experience working in multiple functions (e.g., Marketing, Commercial, Finance).
- Experience operating in diverse business contexts, such as turnarounds and new market entry.
- Experience in delivering results across multiple categories.
- Exposure to different markets/cultures and balancing local expertise with a global perspective.
- Track record of growing talent, managing performance, and developing high-performing teams.
- Ability to influence across a matrix and manage important external stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budget management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
