The Opportunity 

 

The Project Manager (PM) partners with the Senior Project Manager to structure, lead, and deliver complex initiatives globally.  The PM directs team activities, facilitates effective team communication, develops timelines, identifies risks and mitigation plans, facilitates project team meetings, drives issue resolution, and communicates milestone status to the Steering Team.  The PM’s primary initiative centres on planning & implementing a brand-wide packaging redesign across 150+ products in the region, in partnership with Supply Chain, Innovation, Marketing, Commercialisation and Finance.

 

  • Responsibility to drive redesign project & strategies across the EU region including the day-to-day management of stakeholders to ensure the highest standard of communication and timely execution of deliverables. Overcommunication to stakeholders is key due to market complexities.
  • Partner with Senior Project Manager to define and document project scope, goals, deliverables, timetables, success factors, and resources that are required from all functions to execute the project activities.
  • Plan, facilitate, and/or attend standing cross functional project team meetings to enable project status updates, resolve issues, and drive progress against tasks and deliverables
  • Ensure that project scope and timing take into consideration minimizing waste (raw materials, pack and finished goods write-offs)
  • Build relationships and work collaboratively with in-market and operational team members across Europe.
  • Work across relevant ON.com websites & retail partner platforms, ensure best in class digital presentation of new artworks.
  • Work with global & local brand teams to ensure redesign project, assets & content are developed & implemented in line with overall brand strategy and plans.  

 

The Skills you will bring to the team

 

  • Proven business experience with Project Management experience within a marketing team.
  • Strong project management skills notably working to budgets and deadlines.
  • Direct role experience managing complex, broad-scale project
  • Strategic thinker with ability to create and deliver transition plans across markets
  • Project & Change Management experience (discipline, organization, planning, attention to detail, and communication tools)
  • Experience holding project teams and individuals accountable for delivering against plan
  • Impeccable organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Passion and entrepreneurial spirit to drive proactive ideas and implement them.
  • Ability to work autonomously but also be a strong team player with initiative.
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, and self-sufficient with ability to cope with pressure and comfort with ambiguity.
  • A natural communicator with good reporting and presentation skills.
  • An influential and collaborative interpersonal style which will see you build effective cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including expertise with Microsoft Project
  • Project Management – External certification desirable (PMI, PMP, APM, IPMA, etc.)
  • Expert team building, problem solving, & conflict resolution skills
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
