The role of NAM is to help design and execute the Commercial Strategy across key customers through distributor (DCS) within the Convenience channel. This is a compelling opportunity for either an existing NAM or an experienced KAM/NAE, to continue to grow their career in an exciting category, with significant scope for future growth.
This is a full-time, permanent role reporting into the Controller.
Responsibilities
- Lead and shape the Convenience strategy for the UK market, looking after Booker, Dhamecha, Parfetts, Bestway and Forecourt groups through DCS (Distributor)
- Identify and Unlock distribution across various whitespace channels through DCS partnership , working with their commercial teams
- Track FY JBP for DCS and indirect budgets by customers through them ensuring these align to GPN budgeted targets
- Work with category management to ensure GPN is seen as the go to supplier for the convenience channel in the UK
- Build strong relationships with key industry contacts
- Build out, cost and appropriate promotional & support plans by customer
- Work with customer & trade marketing to develop appropriate marketing support plans
- Work with demand forecasting, finance, customer service to ensure both internal & external needs are met
The Skills you will bring to the team
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in similar commercial environment
- Ability to influence both cross functionally and at a senior level
- Self- starter, highly motivated and ambitious.
- Ability to work to stretching targets in a dynamic industry, thrive in a high growth environment!
- Proven ability to handle, evaluate and utilise sales data and insights effectively
- Ability to plan effectively, but also think on their feet
- High energy, high creativity but ability to work through the basics too
- Able to collaborate across key internal and external stakeholders
- Interest in sport or health and fitness
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification
