The role of senior NAM France is to help develop and grow our business within the grocery retail channel, managing strategically the biggest customer of France. This is a compelling opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager, to continue to grow their career in an exciting, fast growing category, with significant scope for future growth.

Working predominantly on Optimum Nutrition, the world’s No1 Sport Nutrition brand, and in a region set to double in size within the next 3 years and with serious Marketing investment for the first time ever, this role is bursting with opportunity for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

 

  • Full P&L responsibility for account portfolio.
  • Lead commercial relationships across customer base.
  • Support in management of other Key Channel Retailers.
  • Execute short and long-term strategies and activities consistent with GPN France objectives.
  • Leadership of annual customer negotiations, account planning and effective reporting.
  • Deep understanding of key customer, its strategy, and key objectives.
  • Ability to work closely with customer marketing to develop clear and implementable strategies for sales growth, through category leading visibility, promotion, and execution.
  • Support with category team to instil GPN as category captains within account base.
  • Represent GPN at customer events, forums, and other engagement opportunities.
  • Effective collaboration with demand planning, finance & customer service in line with internal processes.
  • Own the customer JBP (Join business plan) planning and execution.
  • Support the Omni-channel approach by aligning closely with online channel managers.

  

The Skills you will bring to the team

 

  • Strong analytical skills and experience using internal and external data sources (i.e., Nielsen, IRI, CPM, Sales Data).
  • Min. 5-year experience managing accounts
  • Sport nutrition industry knowledge & experience in grocery retail is desirable but not essential.
  • Able to work in an ambitious and sustainable growth environment.
  • Ability to work to stretching targets in a dynamic industry.
  • Ability to work with multiple customers at once and effective prioritisation.
  • Able to collaborate across key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to handle, evaluate and utilise sales data and insights effectively.
  • Self-starter with a focus on results and the customer.
  • Ability to balance short-term business performance with longer term strategic initiatives.
