Job Summary: 

Quality Control Laboratory Technician, plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our products.  This role has the responsibility for chemical, physical and/or microbiological analysis of nutritional components and blends. Duties include preparing documentation and coordinating or performing testing and analysis to ensure quality standards are met.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Conduct microbiology testing on raw materials and finished blends.
• Perform physical testing, including Titrations, pH, LOD, Bulk Density, Sensory testing, and Sieve analysis.
• Analyze nutritional ingredients and blends using techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, ICP MS, and UV.
• Prepare documentation, generate reports, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures.
• Assist in Quality Control Investigations.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines.

Qualification & Experience Requirements:

• 1-3 years of quality control experience in manufacturing, food, or nutraceutical industries.
• High school diploma or G.E.D required; Associates Degree in Science or related field preferred.
• Hands-on laboratory experience, particularly in microbiology or HPLC/UPLC.

Skills and Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Results-focused and adaptable team player.

Language, Computer & Numeracy:

• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Experience with LIMS, Chromeleon, or Empower software preferred.
