The Opportunity 

Glanbia Performance Nutrition is a wholly owned subsidiary of Glanbia located in Downers Grove, Illinois. GPN’s brand portfolio consists of – Optimum Nutrition, BSN, Isopure, Think!, Nutramino ABB, Body & Fit, Amazing Grass and SlimFast, each with its own brand essence. GPN manufactures and markets the full range of performance nutrition and lifestyle products including protein, pre-workout, muscle gainers, ready-to-eat snacks and general health. Products are sold through a variety of channels including specialty retail, the internet, gyms and FDM in a variety of formats including powders, bars and Ready-to-Drink beverages. GPN has a global and expanding footprint with a current in-market presence in 24 countries. This permanent position will report to the Cost Accounting Manager.

• Financially own and take responsibility for inventory cost valuations, including costing new items and quarterly standard cost updates and overheads
• Contribute to key metrics reporting and analysis for operations – MUV and PPV
• Report on scrap and cycle count losses within operations and warehousing
• Oversee production order processing for multiple plants as well as their aging
• Perform financial reconciliations to support the month end and quarterly close processes
• Ad hoc reporting
• Support Cost Accounting Manager

The Skills you will bring to the team 

• 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - BS, BA or equivalent from an accredited 4-year university or college

• Previous experience a plus but not required. If no direct experience, must show be able to demonstrate good analytical ability or transferrable skills Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team player – Willing to work with various functional owners at the plants and at corporate.
• SAP experience is a plus.
• Analytics
