The Opportunity 

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to collaborate across multiple functions including Management, Regulatory, Legal, Scientific Affairs, Procurement, Marketing, Innovation, Laboratory, and Quality. The role involves gathering essential regulatory, quality, and food safety documentation related to Supplier, Raw Material, Packaging Material, and Label Approval Processes. This role reports to the Quality Receiving Manager and duties include but are not limited to the following;

 

  • Ensure adherence to food safety requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • Implement and monitor long-term shelf-life stability programs.
  • Manage and review expired materials and allergen profiles.
  • Oversee Change Controls, Corrective Actions, Preventive Actions, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Production, Sanitation, and Maintenance teams.
  • Conduct risk assessments, mock recall audits, and investigate customer complaints.
  • Verify product labels and specifications for accuracy.
  • Support onsite audits and inspections by external providers and regulatory agencies.

 

  The Skills you will bring to the team

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Nutrition Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related technical field preferred.
  • Equivalent practical experience plus an Associate’s degree in a relevant field accepted.
  • Experience in the food industry, especially with health/supplement/nutritional food, preferred.
  • Proficiency in developing, writing, implementing, and educating on Standards of Procedure.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and databases.
  • Basic understanding and general knowledge of Food Safety tools, concepts, and methodologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
