The Opportunity 

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for logistics and customer satisfaction? We are seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee the performance and efficiency of our warehouses, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service. This permanent position will report to the Plant Manager and duties include but are not limited to the following:  

  • Customer-Centric Coordination: Liaise with Sales to fulfill customer product requests, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Product Allocation: Select and allocate products to exceed customer expectations.
  • Quality Assurance Collaboration: Work with QA on re-classing and COA clarifications.
  • Process Optimization: Utilize GPS processes to drive zero losses and uphold our non-negotiable standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise warehouse team, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback.
  • Logistics Management: Coordinate with logistics, transportation, and other warehouses for efficient product movement.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain SOPs, create shipping schedules, and manage inventory records.
  • ERP Proficiency: Perform complex transactions and run reports using advanced ERP software.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in meetings and work with various teams to improve processes.

 

The Skills you will bring to the team

  • Requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from four-year College or technical school; or a minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possess general understanding of export requirements and policies.
  • Possess good understanding of OSHA, USDA, HACCP, Loss Control, and Safety policies/practices.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, handle multiply projects simultaneously and delegate assignments to others.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies, practices, and procedures, and take responsibility for reporting any unsafe activities.
  • Proficient personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
