We are hiring a Brand Manager, Brand Activation for SlimFast. SlimFast is an iconic brand with product offerings including snack cups, crisp bars, ready-to-drink shakes and other protein powders. You will lead our brand activation efforts through content development and strategic media planning. This role is pivotal in sharpening our brand positioning by bringing brand communications to life.

 

Key Responsibilities as the Brand Manager, SlimFast: 

  • Lead the development of world-class, consumer centric integrated marketing campaign rooted in insights and linked to universal truths that will resonate with consumers  
  • Define overall marketing activation goals by assessing and reviewing internal brand plans, targets, and resources 
  • Collect and analyze consumer insights to understand preferences, behaviors, and inform messaging and target audiences  
  • Design and implement an effective media strategy for Brand activation, with focus on achieving optimum balance between paid, owned and earned media 
  • Plan and optimize marketing channel utilization to maximize brand visibility, engagement and consideration. 
  • Collaborate with the internal Integrated Marketing team to monitor campaign execution, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines. 
  • Conduct regular analysis of campaign performances and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement. 
  • Prepare and deliver briefs to internal teams and external partners, clearly communicating objectives and expectations. 
  • Work closely with external and internal content providers to generate different types of content (hi-fi/lo-fi/UGC) that supports media plans and strengthens brand messaging. 
  • Manage media budgets effectively, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize brand objectives 
  • Conduct competitors’ media and content strategy analysis to identify opportunities and threats. 

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree or MBA preferred. 
  • 5+ years of experience in media strategy and planning, preferably in consumer packaged goods or a similar industry. 
  • Proven expertise in content strategy, media planning (particularly in performance channels), and paid social. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to persuade and influence key stakeholders.
