The Opportunity Where You Will Make An Impact

 

Reporting to the Head of Finance – SK&JP, the primary focus of the role is to assist Head of Finance in budgets/forecasts/outlook preparation and submission, review of month-end financial results, analyzing business trends and performance, value chains and profitability focus, as well as supporting ad-hoc projects required to drive growth and profitability in the Region.

 

1) Commercial Support

  • Monitor weekly sales order and CPT balance (if any), tracking against Budget/Forecast/Latest Estimate.
  • Manager Monthly closing , prepare and analyze for business review deck and monthly reporting.
  • Design, evaluate and monitor rebate and promotional plans.
  • Review all promo templates and claims before submission for approval.
  • Support Head of Finance in preparation of budgets/forecasts/outlook.
  • Track customers’ sell-out and inventory (DOH) to ensure proper inventory level maintained at customer level.
  • Ensure customer’s prices are properly maintained in SAP.
  • Assist in preparing ROI calculation of marketing spend.
  • Support NPD/Innovation financial template.

 

2) Customers’ Claim Review and Processing

  • Review all claims received from distributors/customers, before providing the claim docs to HOF for approval.
  • Keeping track of all customers’ claims and ensure claims are properly accounted for and match against accruals set-up for that purpose.

3) Value Chain Exercise

  • Assist in value chain exercises for all the valid products from COGS to RSP to split the markup between parties and profitability by RTM/Customer/Channel

 

4) Ad-Hoc Projects

  • Assist in any ad-hoc projects required to support business growth and profitability in the Region as well as for process improvements.

  

What You Will Bring To GPN

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance with minimum 5 years experience in FMCG or similar within global MNC.
  • Experience in commercial financial and accounting practice preferably international
  • Well-developed English language skills (reading/writing and oral) with effective communication skills
  • A working knowledge of SAP preferred
  • Strong PC skills including MS Office; particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Hands on operator who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get the job done working independently with little supervision
  • Fast and accurate alpha-numeric keyboard skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet varying deadlines and work volumes
  • Self-motivated with initiative and performance driven
  • Excellent analytical skills; able to identify and solve complex analytical problems
