The Opportunity 

 

A vacancy has arisen for the role of Insights Manager at Glanbia Performance Nutrition. This is a permanent position and the base location of the role will be Citywest, Dublin 24 with a blended working arrangement available through our Smart working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance. 

 

The Insight Manager will be part of the Global Insights & Analytics team, reporting to the Global Insights & Analytics Director. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical background with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights, and will be responsible for creating comprehensive reports for the senior leadership, crafting powerful storylines from data.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver detailed & highly visual reports and presentations for the Chief Brand Officer, ensuring data accuracy and integrity and highlighting key insights and recommendations.
  • Craft compelling storylines from data to support marketing strategies and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret data from various sources (e.g. brand health tracker, brand websites, social listening, market data)
  • Gatekeep the Insights & Analytics knowledge management hub and manage the monthly editorial newsletter
  • Build dynamic and visual reports from multiple data sources with Excel or data visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau)
  • Ability to utilise data to support KPI setting, tracking and evaluation
  • Analyse both quantitative and qualitative data, to understand consumer motivations, attitudes and behaviours, leveraging the data to support business interests

The Skills you will bring to the team

 

  • 5+ years proven experience in consumer insights, data analysis, reporting, and storytelling.
  • Primary degree and/or a Masters qualification in a relevant field
  • Skilled in drawing conclusions from data and crafting & communicating compelling storylines for senior audiences
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and e to collaborate with others for problem solving and requirements gathering.
  • Forward thinking mind-set and comfortable driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities
  • Competent at creating visual reports and dashboards
  • A proactive problem solver, naturally inquisitive and independent critical thinker
  • Knowledge of front-end visualisation tools preferable
