The Opportunity 

The Project Manager role is pivotal to driving the GPN growth agenda by delivering initiatives across the brand portfolio. Our initiative portfolio is rich and diverse and offers exposure to stakeholders at a senior level within the organisation. The Project Manager (PM) partners with the Senior Project Manager to structure, lead, and deliver complex initiatives across Europe and also support globally. The PM directs team activities, facilitates effective team communication, develops timelines, identifies risks and mitigation plans, facilitates project team meetings, drives issue resolution, and communicates milestone status to the Steering Team.  The PM’s primary initiative centres on planning & implementing a brand-wide range of Product and Commercial initiatives in the region, in partnership with Supply Chain, Innovation, Sales, Marketing, R&D, Commercialisation and Finance.

• Responsibility to drive projects & strategies across the EU region including the day-to-day management of stakeholders to ensure the highest standard of communication and timely execution of deliverables. Overcommunication to stakeholders is key due to market complexities.
• Partner with Senior Project Manager to define and document project scope, goals, deliverables, timetables, success factors, and resources that are required from all functions to execute the project activities.
• Plan, facilitate, and/or attend standing cross functional project team meetings to enable project status updates, resolve issues, and drive progress against tasks and deliverables.
• Build relationships and work collaboratively with in-market and operational team members across Europe.
• Assessing, mitigating and communicating risk and opportunity via a strong Stage-Gate process.
• Ensure compliance to the Stage-Gate Process to enable the key decisions to be taken by the relevant business leaders, by communicating risk vs reward in a concise and accurate way.
• Drive for continuous improvement across all work practices. Design, implement and embed enhancements to project management ways of working.
•  Demonstrate leadership by creating vision, motivation and inspiration across the organisation as to how your initiatives relate to delivery of business goals.

• Strong project management skills notably working to budgets and deadlines.
• Direct role experience managing complex, broad-scale projects.
• Strategic thinker with ability to create and deliver transition plans across markets.
• The ability of handling conflicting workloads and deadlines.
• Project & Change Management experience (discipline, organization, planning, attention to detail, and communication tools)
• Experience holding project teams and individuals accountable for delivering against plan
• Impeccable organisational skills and attention to detail
• Passion and entrepreneurial spirit to drive proactive ideas and implement them.
• Ability to work autonomously but also be a strong team player with initiative.
• Dynamic, self-motivated, and self-sufficient with ability to cope with pressure and comfort with ambiguity.
• A natural communicator with good reporting and presentation skills.
• An influential and collaborative interpersonal style which will see you build effective cross-functional stakeholder relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including expertise with Microsoft Project
• Project Management – External certification desirable but not essential (PMI, PMP, APM, IPMA, etc.)
• Expert team building, problem solving, & conflict resolution skills
• Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills
