Reporting into the Finance Director - Asia, the Commercial Finance Manager will be responsible for the following:

 

Commercial Finance Lead

  • Work with the Sales Team in the Annual Customer negotiation
  • Channel & customer profitability – understanding the levers and supporting the business in driving the same
  • Responsible for maintaining all the legal agreements with list and signed copies (Athletes, Customers, others)
  • Track customers/distributors’ inventory reports.
  • Assist in preparing ROI calculation of Commercial Spends – Marketing & Trade spend.
  • Prepare and Maintain Various Value Chain for different Channels of Trade
  • NPD Costing and profitability
  • Month end Closing for the Business
  • Help the Marketing Team in managing their spends and assessing the ROI.
  • Control over the Overheads of the South Korea entity.

 

 

Budget/Forecast

  • Manage the Budget/Forecast cycle for Korea entity
  • Co-ordinate with the commercial and marketing team in the Region in:
  • Getting the sales forecast details for Budget/Forecast
  • Getting the marketing expenses details with the plan
  • Overheads – Plan and initiatives
  • Work with the business to assess Risk and opportunities on an ongoing basis
  • Work with the business to ensure all Initiatives planned in the Budget are on track

 

 

Customers’ Trade spend management – South Korea Business

Responsible to ensure that all the Claim settlement are being completed correctly and on time:

  • Claim Review and Processing: Review all claims received from National distributors/customers for FDM, Specialty and Online Channel
  • Periodic reconciliation and no dues process

 

 

Actuals Reporting

  • Monitor sales order, tracking against Budget/Forecast/Latest Estimate
  • Prepare and distribute monthly commercial pack with the analysis to the commercial team.
  • Tracking Monthly Actual Expenses against Budget and Variance Analysis
  • Monthly Reconciliation of the Legal entity and with the Commercial Pack and compare the same with Budgets and Forecasts
  • Work with the EMEA Controls Team to ensure that the Group provisioning and accounting processes are followed.
  • Support the Business with any local compliance reporting like ESR , Stat Audit etc.

 

 

Ad-Hoc Projects

Assist in any ad-hoc projects required to support business growth and profitability in the Region as well as for process improvements.

 

 

Education/Experience:

  • Qualified Finance professional with 10-12 yrs post degree experience in MNC CPG
  • Experience in commercial financial and accounting practice
  • Well-developed English language skills (reading/writing and oral) with effective communication skills
  • Experience working with SAP financial planning, analysis & reporting tools
  • Experience in managing complex stakeholders and a passion for process improvement

  • Hands on operator who should roll up their sleeves and get the job done working independently with little supervision.
  • Strong problem solving skills with high attention to details and final outcomes.
  • Sound accounting, reporting and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be a strong team player and demonstrate dedication to group and company goals
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet varying deadlines and work volumes
  • Self-motivated with initiative and performance driven
  • Excellent analytical skills; able to identify and solve complex analytical problems and draw conclusions through analysis of data in real time and on demand
