The Opportunity 

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Plant Manager to drive continuous improvement in engagement, safety, quality, productivity, operational excellence, and cost management. This role involves leading a 24/7 plant operation, ensuring budget adherence, output, and continuous improvement by engaging all employees. You will direct, administer, and coordinate activities to support the company's policies, goals, and objectives. This permanent, full-time position will report to the SVP Premix & Flavors Operations and is fully onsite. Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:   

• Inspire Teams: Foster a strong team spirit, effective communication, urgency, and high motivation to achieve immediate and long-term goals.
• Champion Change: Act as a visible change agent, promoting flexibility and openness to new opportunities.
• Strategic Leadership: Execute strategic plant direction for all production initiatives, aligning with global goals.
• Collaborative Planning: Drive collaboration within the site and across network activities, ensuring cross-functional planning and decision-making.
• Financial Oversight: Oversee the budget and financial performance of product manufacturing operations.
• Safety and Compliance: Promote a positive Safety Culture, GMP operating principles, and ensure inspection readiness.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve manufacturing procedures and equipment in collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams.
• Talent Development: Lead recruitment, training, and mentoring of personnel, and coach supervisors and junior staff through effective development planning.

 The Skills you will bring to the team

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Industry Experience: At least 10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry or a similar field.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
• Communication Skills: Proficiency in writing reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Presentation Skills: Effective presentation skills and the ability to respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Mathematical Proficiency: Advanced mathematical skills, including concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in software applications such as AutoCAD, Access, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Word.
