Essential Functions:
- Perform general sanitation throughout the buildings including, but not limited to cleaning of rest areas, production lines and office areas.
- Assist in allergen cleans and deep dive cleaning of blenders and packaging equipment.
- Provide detail cleaning and small project tasks in office areas and support areas.
- Operate sanitation equipment, i.e. riding floor scrubbers/steam cleaning machine.
- Change Torit filters as required.
- Approved & certified to use PIT to load recycled bales onto trailer.
- Must be able to work out of doors as required to maintain grounds around the facility.
- Ability to perform these essential functions without direct supervision.
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): N95 Respirator, lab coat, safety shoes, safety glasses, bump cap, hearing protection, hair net, beard net, boots and nitrile gloves
- Perform other sanitation duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Basic information of the position
- Higher level of skill and attention to detail required.
- Basic understanding of industrial cleaning/sanitizing chemicals.
- Basic pest control identification of stored product pest and rodents.
- PIT Certification, including Scissor lift /fall protection
Education/Experience:
- High school degree or equivalent preferred
- Must have 2 year prior food plant sanitation experience.
- Working knowledge of the operation of electric floor scrubbers & industrial vacuums.

The work is classified as Medium Physical Demand Level (PDL) by the US Dept. of Labor’s Dictionary of Occupational Titles.
Frequencies: Occasional (1-33%); Frequent (34-66%); Continuous (67-100%)
Lifting Demands:
- Lift up to 55 lbs. on an occasional basis 6 inches off Ground to Waist.
- Lift up to 30 lbs. on a frequent basis up to 10 feet.
