Quality Auditor

Job Summary:

The QC Auditor is responsible for managing and enforcing Quality Program procedures and company established   policies regarding the powder process and storage, of all goods manufactured at the 600/948 ON Aurora facility.


Essential Functions:

  • Fully understand the process flow from raw materials to finished product.
  • Enter results into a computerized system, track and report results (GP/SAP/MS Office programs).
  • Understand microbiological concepts, procedures, and knowledge of aseptic technique.
  • Sign-off on finished blends based on product control samples.
  • Prepare and perform basic organoleptic tests on finished goods and raw materials.
  • Prepare and/or collect samples for laboratory testing.
  • Pull retain samples and assist with investigations.
  • Perform essential Food Safety checks on prescribed frequency.
  • Conduct audits per SOPs on prescribed frequency.
  • Wear PPE: safety shoes, safety glasses, bump cap, hair net, beard net, hearing protection, and nitrile gloves
  • Perform other duties as assigned


    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:   Basic information of the position

  • Advanced knowledge of cGMPs, HACCP and FDA regulations.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time.


      Decision Making/ Problem Solving: Give at least 3 examples of the types of decisions this job will typically make without higher level approval.

  • Participates in Root Cause Analysis investigations and make decisions within a team environment.



  • High School Diploma
  • Experience and/or potential to develop a career in the food industry (Health/Supplement/Nutritional Food preferred).
  • Experience with Standard Operating Procedures (development, implementation and education).
  • Years of experience: 1 year preferable but not a requirement
