The Opportunity 

This position is responsible for supporting the Scheduling Supervisor when creating, tracking, and reporting daily production, and making the most efficient use of the time and resources to meet customer demand. This involves: order tracking, keeping track of production numbers & KPIs and adjust when necessary, anticipate potential bottlenecks that can affect output, keep constant communication with supportive departments to maintain steady workflow, and take on task and projects as needed

• Create, track and report daily production schedule and KPI’s
• Set daily production goals and determine schedule priorities based on line capacity making the most efficient use of the time and resources ensuring customer satisfaction
• Responsible for scheduling orders to meet promised dates and optimize productivity
• Update and maintain information in JDA and Set-tool
• Work with the manufacturing department to actively manage daily production schedule, revise schedules to accommodate and expedite rush orders
• Participate in daily production meetings
• Work with multiple departments to maintain workflow and resolve issues
• Participate in supply planning and material planning meetings
• Keep track of problematic orders
• Weekend/OT required as needed
• Serve as backup to Supervisor in their absence (Facilitate meetings, Update JDA and Set-tool)

The Skills you will bring to the team

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1-2 years of production scheduling or PO Processing experience
• Specialized training: SAP and JDA a plus
• Intermediate Excel, PowerPoint and Word Knowledge
• Order Processing and accounting practices
