Supervisor,Production

Essential Functions:

  • Schedules work for all lines and production areas.
  • Process material issue and audit batch records.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are being followed in a consistent manner.
  • Report production on a daily basis.
  • Conduct daily roll call and report discrepancies.
  • Write procedures and SOP’s and is instrumental in the implementation and training of the procedures, both new and existing.
  • Responsible for quality and quantity of production output, and employee training, and skills assessment/development.
  • Report Quality or Maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Interface in Collaboration with Quality Control, Accounting, Marketing, and R&D departments.
  • Ensure plant personnel practice safe work habits and follow safety rules.
  • Develop teams to achieve Operations goals in Safety, Quality, Customer Service, and Cost Management.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Advanced knowledge of GMP/HACCP.
  • Knowledge and Experience with Production Equipment.
  • Experience in food and/or consumer products environment.
  • Ability to facilitate work teams
  • Ability to manage and develop team members
  • Able to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift

     

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 10 years of production supervisory experience in a manufacturing plant.
