Overview

 

The key Accounts Executive sits in the Ingredient’s category and reports to the Key Account Manager – Dairy. 

The role is to work with an existing portfolio of key B2B dairy customers with significant financial scale and impact in delivering a best-in-class service. They will design in and deliver on our commitments.  The successful candidate will help manage the day-to-day interactions with the customers and will have responsibility for ensuring that all customer needs are met.  They will be the voice of the customer internally and will be innovative in their approach.   

 

Key Responsibilities;

  • Grow, develop, and manage the relevant key accounts portfolio to meet the short term and longer-term business and customer needs.
  • Work closely with a wide cross functional team to deliver an exceptionally positive customer experience. 
  • Management of sales targets and maintaining and updating forecasts in line with business requirements.
  • Contribute towards the collation of market intelligence, lead generation and qualification and report on the competitive landscape and market pricing information.
  • Contribute towards the elaboration of a business strategy and growth plan for the portfolio and for key customers.
  • Communication: All relevant customer facing communications, preparation of internal reports, business development reviews.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Degree level in Business / Commerce / Food Science or other similar third level qualification.
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar role for the business development and sales of B2B food ingredients.
  • Previous experience with dairy/food or and/or ability to provide technical support to customers and present potential applications of our range of ingredients into their product formulations will be a distinct advantage.
  • Previous experience in data-management and information sharing via a CRM platform.
