The Opportunity 

Provide the leadership that ensures all plant employees can improve and sustain a zero loss work culture that drives out injuries and ensures products are safe and meet quality specifications. Manage all aspects of a 24/7 plant operation ensuring budget, output, and continuous improvement by engaging all employees. Essential functions include;

  • Meet production goals in areas such as yield, quality, and customer specifications.
  • Organize work flow of production managers and team leaders to direct their short and long term development
  • Foster an environment of problem solving and continuous improvement.
  • Work in collaboration with Quality Control, Accounting, Marketing and R&D Departments.  
  • Analyze daily and weekly reports and oversee resolution of any issues.

   The Skills you will bring to the team

  • Read, analyze and interpret general business periodical, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. 
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to understand TPM and similar continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience managing Continuous Improvement through manufacturing metrics
  • Knowledge and experience with cheese manufacturing.
  • GMP/HACCP knowledge

The opportunity will be based in Clovis, NM at our Southwest Cheese & Whey Protein Manufacturing Plant were we process over 5.1 billion pounds of milk at the 24/7 facility.
